Jack Ma’s Comments On ChatGPT And The Impact Of AI In The Digital Era

Jack Ma, the founder of Alibaba Group Holding Ltd., stated that new technologies like ChatGPT challenge educational systems and exemplify just the start of the Artificial Intelligence era.

Monday, Ma (while visiting Yungu School, a private school he founded in Hangzhou,

Zhejiang province) says:

“Innovation is the real breakthrough for development.”

Ma believes that AI should not be used to control humans but rather to address and tackle issues humans are facing. This is what she advocates for when it comes to the use of Artificial Intelligence. Yungu School discussed this on its online platform. Ma pointed out that although humans may not have quite the same brawn and brains as machines when it comes to having hearts, humans are ahead of them as they possess emotion, which machines lack.

The knowledge-focused industrial era’s knowledge-focused competition is being replaced by the digital era, which focuses on wisdom coupled with creativity and imagination-based competition. In addition to this, there will also be a race to acquire leadership roles and responsibilities that require independent thought processes.

Jack Ma’s insights on ChatGPT and the role of AI in the digital era provide valuable perspectives on this rapidly evolving landscape. As we move forward, we must remain vigilant in our efforts to harness the power of AI for good and ensure that it continues to benefit society as a whole.
