India Can Lead The Way In AI Adoption With Open Source Technology

Artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a game-changing technology that has the potential to revolutionize every aspect of human life. The CEO of Ola Cabs, Bhavish Aggarwal, has recently argued that India should take the lead in adopting AI technology with open arms. With India’s rapidly growing tech industry, vast amounts of data, and young and dynamic workforce, the country is well-positioned to become a global leader in AI.

On Saturday, New Delhi and Bhavish Aggarwal, the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ola Cabs, said.

New Delhi says:

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a massive technology tool for increasing productivity and India should take a lead in adopting such technologies

At the ABP Network’s Idea of India Summit, Aggarwal rejected the idea that adopting technology would lead to job losses.

Technology trends like AI are so disruptive. While one can think that (the adoption of AI) threatens jobs,

New Delhi went on to say:

“I see it as a massive technology tool for increasing productivity.”

Aggarwal says:

“And we in India, as an economy and as stakeholders of the economy, should all adopt AI with open arms.”

He stressed that implementing this technology could increase productivity by a factor of 10.

Aggarwal continues to say:

“We should be the first adopter of AI and become the most productive in the world.”

He noted that using Artificial Intelligence would majorly influence economic growth, with software development being the first to reap its rewards. Aggarwal pointed out that AI can increase productivity tenfold, allowing developers to complete coding tasks in one day, usually taking a month.

He believes introducing AI in India will lead to a new wave of job opportunities, just like when computer technology was first implemented.

The CEO of Ola Cabs, Bhavish Aggarwal, has made a strong case for India to embrace AI technology and lead the charge in its adoption. With India’s large population, vast amounts of data, and thriving tech industry, the country is well-positioned to become a global leader in AI. The benefits of AI are numerous, including improved efficiency, enhanced safety, and increased productivity.

As Mr. Aggarwal points out, AI can also positively impact job creation and economic growth. However, to fully realize the potential of AI, India must focus on developing the necessary infrastructure, education, and regulations to support its adoption. By doing so, India can pave the way for a brighter future for all and set an example for other countries.
