Google announced in a blog post on Monday that their LaMDA language model, or Language Model for Dialogue Applications, will be made available to “trusted testers” before it is released publicly. This conversation technology powers Bard from the company.
CNBC reported last week that Google has initiated a “code red” program to counter ChatGPT, the chatbot technology supported in part by Microsoft, and is currently testing certain features with their staff.
A chatbot entitled “Apprentice Bard” was featured, in addition to new desktop search designs which could be interacted with through a question-and-answer style.
CEO Sundar Pichai has announced that AI-enabled features are coming soon to Search. These features will help make complex information and multiple viewpoints easier to comprehend, allowing you to grasp the overall concept and explore related topics quickly.
